1940s Better Homes & Gardens Cook Book - Broken In and Worn. Has it's damage and you can see has been a very used cookbook inside and out. Used as a display but also when I needed a recipe it was there for me. Says, 'Mary Thompson' on front cover and 'Mary' on Index page Ca to Ch both written in pen. Front and back covers and spine are worn along with the corners and edges. The spine is crinkled and bumpy. Discolored and dirty outer hardcovers. Inside there's stains and discoloration/yellowing as well. Pages are held in with a 5 ring binder style. Tons of recipes- pages/recipes are used. Index Pages A- CA which is 2 Pages front & back (the bottom 3 rings are torn out and held in by the 1st 2 rings). I have no clue age wise for this cookbook, thinking the 70s. Cookbook is in fair/acceptable shape. Inside covers plastic is ripply, bubbled.
