This item is only bundled because it came in the same box so it is easy to ship out together.
Both items were used for displays in enclosed cases. The palpatine saber came with discoloring out of the box. Please see the pictures for visuals. You might be able to use a chemical to clean it up but I have only used a microfiber cloth.
