Complete Vintage Volupte Portmanteau Compact Purse & Original Black Moire Carrying Case. The compact purse is a stunning example of 1950’s Art Deco, as the outside of the purse has exquisite gold tone deco embellishments. The case is made of a very high quality metal construction, as the hinges and opening button still function properly. The bottom of the case is signed by Volupte. The inside of the Compact purse has compartments for lipstick, rouge, and an area for money or credit cards hidden behind the mirror. Also, the original makeup pad is included in the set. The compact purse’s length is 3 inches and the width is 5.25 inches. The compact purse and carrying case show normal signs of light use and wear - no major damage.
